Misc Photoshoot Pics

I know these are old and I should have posted them back when I did the photo shoot but oh well, lol. Right now I'm in Mexico (rub it in right) and I wanted to make sure that I posted something while I was gone. So here are some shots of me after my photo shoot with Stephen Midgett. I also posted the picture above so you can see what a difference the photoshop does.. I swear I never want to take another professional pic unless it's photoshopped! Ahryn and I have a photoshoot coming up and I am sooooo excited. And judging from the last photoshoot I had, they should be amazing!!! Next time though I'll make sure I post these type of pics when they are still relevant, lol. Take a lookie!

Hot Trend Alert: Faux Fur

I remember there was a time that I wouldn't be caught dead in fake fur. Back in the day if you didn't have the real thing, well..u just sucked, lol. Now, none of that matters and the hottest trend this season is faux fur. There are soooo many styles that you can choose from and of course the best part is that "no animals were hurt during the making of the garment", lol. PETA should be pleased. Take a lookie:

Lingerie Football - Cleveland Crush

I don't think there is anyone more excited than I am that Cleveland is getting there own lingerie football team, named the Cleveland Crush. If you haven't seen the LFL (Lingerie Football League) play indoor full tackle arena football then you (especially if you're a guy) have been depriving yourself. I hate to admit it but I was introduced to the LFL by my 12 year old son...As his grandmother told his father, "While you're watching the men, he's watching the girls", lmao! I came up with the idea that I was going to try out for the team and Donny promptly told me that I would need both a doctor and a dentist when tryouts were over, lol. I see he has no confidence in me.. I figured I could go out for Corner back, seeing that the Dallas teams' Corner back is 5 feet tall, 100lbs. I'm slightly bigger than her so I should be a shoe in right...(I swear I hear crickets chirping, lmao). Anyhoo, after looking at more games I'm not sure I'm quite cut out for tackle football, but I do know I will be in the building at the home opener. And you never know I might still hit those tryouts just for the hell of it! Can you guys imagine if I made the team..omg...Take a lookie!

"Color Fade" and "Ombre" Trend

Nikki Minaj & Lady Gaga
Recently one of the biggest hair color trends has been the "dip dye", "color fade" or the "ombre," all basically meaning from one color to another. Nikki Minaj and Lady Gaga were two of the first people to be seen in this trend, wearing this style in some of the most dramatic of ways with colors from all over the rainbow. As well as it being a huge hair trend, it is also an overall color statement being made in makeup, nail art, and apparel and accessories. Take a Lookie!!

The Ombre look can also be done in more subtle ways as shown on some of the following females, where the hair color at the root is dark gradually becoming lighter in length.

Neon Brights x Makeup x Clothes= Amped Up Style

I absolutely fell in love with the Neon color trend when I first saw it, and mainly because I am usually such a monochromatic person....usually only wearing blacks, greige, or brown colorways. You see for a person like myself the neon color trend is such a simple way to add contrast or interest to my usually boring color palette, and it can be done in the slightest way such as through lipstick or eyeshadow or in the most noticeable way such as a complete outfit. Either way it is most intriguing when you see it. Below are a few ideas for inspiration;-)))

Neon colors with light neutral colors are clean and spunky

Neon colors with blacks and greige colors are simply chic
Neon colors with jewel tones/prints are completely stylish and hard to pull off in the right way....but what an accomplishment when you do!!!

Accessories are the best way to play with this look....watches, purses, shoes, and even hair accessories are all ways to wear neon colors, but I suggest only wearing one piece at a time. For instance if you are wearing neon shoes don't wear a neon purse, try to let the color accent lie in one area so that the focus remains there.
Make-up, very much like accessories, is a great way to test the neon trend in the simplest way yet make a big impact. It also should only be done in one place at a time in real life, which is of-course different from high fashion runway situations lol......you just don' want to over do a look. So I suggest to try neon eyeshadow with a nude or sheer lip, or a neon lip with minimal to bare eye make-up.

Neon nail polish is so shockingly chic too!!
