I Heart Andrew Spear

This morning while watching my fav morning show The Daily Buzz I fell in love with artist Andrew Spear. They were discussing the fact that he is creating a piece of artwork in the effort to raise money for the victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami. I was so captivated by his artwork which looks like paintings yet is done in colored pencil..... AWESOME!!!... And which primarily consist of sexy/bad girl images. I only wish he would do a self portrait of me, not to say that I'm sexy or a bad girl, but it would be DOPE!! The following images are a few of my favs, but for more images and info on how to purchase his art go to www.spearlife.com.

Samara's BDay @ Be Studios

I'm usually not that quick to follow a trend, but I have to say that this whole pole exercise thing has totally got me hooked. Many females nowadays are getting involved because of many different reasons, some stemming from the want to have a fun time while getting fit, and others to tap into their "inner stripper" lol. Well, during my classes I was fortunate to meet Samara McCullough who has now become my partner in most of the classes we have together. In around the first week of March she celebrated her birthday with a group of females ( including myself) at Be Studios for a night of sexy pole lessons and fun. Watch the video below of the the fun time we had;-)) Thanks Samara for the invite!!! ~AhrynT

DJ Steph Floss BDay x Next Fashion Show

For the past few weeks I have been super busy ( ergo the lack of posting), and one of the things that totally had me consumed was coordinating the fashion show for DJ Steph Floss' BDay/ NEXT @ Tower City Grand Opening party. It was held March 11th at Fortress Nightclub, and it turned out to be a blast;-) Some of the noteable highlights include Valerie Quinones opening the show with a belly dance performance, Steph being presented with a birthday cake and some of the cake being splatted on his new varsity coat and face, and to top it off Vashtie Kola hosting the whole event...DOPE!!!! Below I have a video of some of the fashion show ( not everyone was videotaped...bad camera man lol j/k), and some of the after party.
Enjoy

Maxi-mum Style: The Maxidress & Maxiskirt

Its so funny how quickly styles change in fashion. One minute its skinny the next it's wide, another minute it's short and the next it's long...you get my drift. Well with just about everything being in style one of the newest to the long list of looks is the Maxi. As seen most on the females of hit show "Basketball Wives", the maxi-dress is becoming a fast growing trend with the maxi-skirt not to far behind. Below are a few looks for your fashion inspiration. Take a Lookie!!!

Spring 2011 Jackets

When the weather is as unpredictable as it is here in Cleveland Ohio, it is really important to stay layered for any given change of temperature and you can do so while being stylish at the same time. Below are a few of springs must have jacket styles for your fashion inspiration!! ~AhrynT
The trench coat jacket is such a classy way to step out in style. It easily works with both dressy and casual styles.

The boyfriend blazer ( as shown above ) continues to be a staple jacket in fashion.
The vest style is a funky flirty way to layer on those cool and breezy days.

The denim jacket to me personally is a must have piece for any and everybody. I just bought a Levis denim jacket and will probably wear it all spring with shorts, sundresses..really damn near everything lol.
 Knit jackets
Another one of my favorites is the light weight leather jacket. This spring to lighten up your wardrobe get a spring leather in light colors such as white, taupe, grey, and brown.

New @ Next: Cheap Monday and Ark & Co

This weeks feature of what's New @ NEXT  we have Cheap Monday and Ark & Co. I have been waiting since my buying trip to NY for Cheap Monday, after seeing all their harem pants, crop tops and highwaisted jeans. At all the tradeshows I've attended I have seen the crop top featured in just about every brand. In this video I am showing the many different ways that you can wear the crop top, because you dont always have to show your stomach to wear one. One noteable way to look amazing in a crop top is to wear it with a pair of highwaisted jeans. In this way you arent showing so much torso area which with lowrise jeans can make you look way to long. I am also equally excited to show the new Ark & Co dresses which are simply ADORABLE. Take a Lookie at the vid below, and come stop into NEXT if you see anything you like.

Magic LV Feb 2011

My trip to Las Vegas last week for the MAGIC was AMAZING!! Amazingly productive, amazingly fun, and amazingly exhausting. Most think that going to buy clothes is a glamorously fun, and easy experience.Yet quite to the contrary it consists of long grueling days of looking at tons and tons of the same product, at different price points, while hoping your "fashion" instincts are right, and trying to stay within a budget...kind of have to experience it to know what I mean. The MAGIC trade show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center is just one of the tradeshows that showcases merchandise ( it is like 3 times as big as the IX center), with others such as Project and ENK that show in neighboring hotels. It is one of the largest trade shows held twice a year, where retailers go to buy products/merchandise for their company. Even though I wasn't able to capture all my great moments in LV below are a few ( vid and pics) that will give you at least a taste of what it was like thru my eyes...Take a Lookie!!

Just arriving in Las Vegas for the MAGIC tradeshow

In my appointment with Levis we toasted at exactly 5:01 and I soooo enjoyed that it was the very last appointment of the day because I (as well as a few others) more than just toasted....two champy bottles later I probably bought every single ladies Levis jean they offered lol.
Loved some of the new dress styles for summer. I saw alot of prints, maxi dresses and skirts, bellbottoms and wide leg pants...primarily 70's looks.

 Loved these cute furry boots
Bathroom break and the usual mirror pic lol
The accessories I purchased are FIYAH!!!! Can't wait for them to land in the stores.
 Rings, Rings, and more Rings!!!!!!!

Me in the cab to and from MAGIC....Such an unimportant picture lol!!!
