I Heart Cleveland: "Red"

I love the city where I'm from, because I love going to "Red" a restaurant off of Richmond rd. I often go there to treat myself with my favorite desert creme brûlée, or a nice juicy ribeye steak mmmmmmmm. Well today after the gym I decided to gain all those calories back from my good ole workout (lol) and indulge in a bit of creme brûlée....well I'll work it off tomorrow;-)))

Goodmorning S&L Fam

It is 6:32am and I am headed to the gym. Today is the 1st day in a long time that I woke up this early for anything other than travel/meetings in a long time. I've been wanting to get up this early for myself for such a long time now, so we will see how differently my day goes accordingly. I know that some of you are wondering why I am so psyched about getting up this early?!?! Well the reason is really because I am not a morning person at all, and I end feeling like I haven't had a real day to myself. So I really believe that starting to get up earlier will change that feeling as well as other things completely. You know I will let you all know. Have a great day everyone!!

Eye Catching: Make-up

Style.com recently did an article on trends in Make-up, and there were a few looks I loved. Hopefully these will inspire some ideas amongst you ladies, I know they have for me.

The "Red Lipstick" look, keeping the makeup around the eyes and everywhere else to a minimum.






The "Smoke-Eyelid" look, with tinted lip and cheeks.






The "Kate Moss" look. This style of makeup is supposed to look as if you slept in your makeup, woke up, and left the house. Messy, yet magnificent.







The "Rocker-Eye" look, with heavy liner and eye shadow around entire eye with minimal make-up on the other areas of the face.

This Post Is About Something

So today I am not so happy about having to deal with the fact that my licence is going to be suspended....for the whole SUMMER;-((( So I decided to post this unfortunate situation atleast to try to influence some of you to not make the same STUPID mistakes. Please understand people that it doesn't matter how much you think you weren't in the wrong, that it wasn't truly your fault, or that you may be able to get out of a situation.... In most cases the law is the law and all fingers point to you when you are the main calpret. There are a few things that bother me out of this whole situation...
1.) it could have been avoided if I had of just made sure that I paid/had car insurance. Like my grandmother always said "take care of the minutes and the hours will take care of themselves."
2.) that a freedom of mine has been taken away from me, and now I won't be able to kick it like I want during the summer;-((
3.) and most of all the crazy amount of money that was involved from this whole deal.
So my situation now just is what it is, and what a lesson it has been. So today I am running around dealing with this mess when I could have been doing something worthwhile. Well atleast I have something to post about.
But on a more positive note I feel great because I really like my hair. Ladies, always remember that when shit is hitting the fan do something that makes you feel good to keep you going. So today I did "feel- good" makeup and hair. So I can handle this suspension "ish".

Dedication to having a SICK body

Another episode at Lifetime Fitness and as usually I had to take a breather at my fav place in the world.....the bathroom ofcourse;-) Today so far I am having a GREAT workout, but this quick post has nothing to do with that. I really just wanted to post the fact that when I am at the gym I turn into Aunt Jamima.... Rag on yet still syrupy sweet lol.

This Post Is About Nothing

Today was an intersting day indeed. You know one of those type of days where you think everything is going to go wrong but it actually ends up being a pretty cool day?!?! This morning started off with a meeting, which then followed up with buying some clothes for NEXT, and ended up going over to my grandmothers house. And that was it. Nothing quite amazing, special, or outrageous happened.... Just good and simple. So I started to wonder what really made it "feel" good though and I thought to myself could it be that I got alot done today? Could it have been that it was sunny outside? Or, could it have been that I spent some time with my grandmother?!?! Then it really dawned on me.... "Ohhhhhh, cause I felt skinny today,".... Wow what a difference that can bring lol.

Bathroom Chronicles: Mercury Lounge 040110

So along with my new found love to vlog (video blog) I have wanted to post the bathroom episodes that me and Lleya have while out at the club. Every girl knows what I am talking about, but for all the fellas that wonder what their girl is doing in the bathroom for such a long time here is your answer. We are primping and discussing MAJOR things fellas in the bathroom lol. Just look at the video and you will get a good idea... the restaurant/club bathroom is my favorite place to be while out:-))

Kaiya Eve - The Original Pettiskirt

I luv buying clothes for my daughters..so much so that they truly have more than they will ever need! I try to come up with justifications, such as if I buy for my oldest, I can give to my youngest..lol..but the truth is I just truly have a problem! Kaiya Eve was created by Kandi Lightner, out of LA, and named for her (at that time) two year old daughter. Almost every celeb mom with a daughter has dressed their child in one of her skirt/top combos. I have been wanting one (or two, or three...) of these outfits for sooo long. The only problem is I can't decide which one!!! They are all so beautiful! I adore when little girls look like ladies.. I heart it even more when someone puts a little rocker edge to it. That pretty much sums up this designer. 50% little lady, 50% rock star, and absolutely 100% fantabulous!! Enjoy!!

I heart shoes that have the shock and awe factor going for them. Something that will take a outfit from "cute" to high fashion the instant you put it on. I've got a few brands that I can count on to deliver every time. The first I blogged about was Giuseppe Zanotti...hotness! Now we move on to DSquared2. I luv, luv, luv them! DSquared2 is the brain child of twin brothers Dean & Dan Caten. Originally from Canada (gotta luv those Canadians!!) they are known for being the perfect blend of over the top edginess mixed with urban appeal. I promise you, that you could be naked with only a pair of their shoes on, and the first thing people would notice were the shoes, not your naked body, lol! If you're not familiar, then GET, FAST!. Take a lookie!!!
